DESCRIPTION: Highly polished Turritella Agate Set. These pieces are exquisite, highly polished, and rich in Earth energy. Turritella is a fossilized group of agatized shells where the organic matter has been replaced by Quartz in a process that takes millions of years. Turritella Agates were formed in and around Wyoming during the Eocene Epoch period. They are said to be between 5 – 50 million years old. The swirls within the stone are fossilized snail shells.
